Sergio Perez Signed Race-Used Framed Balaclava
This race-used Balaclava is the genuine article worn by Sergio Perez in 2014 when he raced for Sahara Force India in the Constructors' championship! Manufactured in Italy by Alpine Stars, this head gear is made from FIA-approved Nomex. 'PEREZ' is clearly embroidered at the bottom of the balaclava.
Nomex is subjected to rigorous testing prior to approval for racing; the main requirement is that it should be able to resist an open flame at a temperature of over 300 degrees Celsius for at least 10 seconds.
Professionally framed in a sleek black box frame, double mounted, with acid-free conservation grade black mount-board, this essential piece of F1™ safety kit is transformed into impressive artwork for your home or office wall. The plaque confirms its previous owner, team and year.
The frame is finished off with top-grade acrylic ‘artscreen’ instead of glass to protect this important piece of memorabilia in shipping. You won’t tell the difference between the artscreen and glass once it’s on your wall. The Balaclava is attached to the mountboard with protective ‘invisible tags’ to ensure no damage to the original teamwear.
Comes complete with official Certificate of Authenticity. Frame measures 58cm high x 31cm wide x 5cm deep.
