ONLINE MERCHANDISER

Do you love all things Formula 1™? We are seeking an aerodynamic Online Merchandiser with G-Force to join our expanding team; working with the top Formula 1™ teams & drivers from our HQ in Towcester, UK.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this is a full-time, office-based position within the hub of British Motorsport.

Overview of the role

The purpose of the Online Merchandiser is to optimise conversion and support the product strategy through navigation and discovery. Responsible for all tradable touch points across multiple websites, from owning visual merchandising, to optimising cross sell/upsell opportunities through product recommendations. You need have a commercial mind, confident with analysing data. A strong understanding of luxury product and motorsport would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Commercially visually merchandise all category pages across multiple websites (including third party sites), being reactive to the marketing calendar whilst maintaining strong visual aesthetic.
  • Maintain curated  SEO rich editorial set pages to support digital channels working alongside the Content and Copy writing executive.
  • Work with Production and Sales to plan and maintain product uploads and key launches.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager on the planning and curation of weekly emails & opportunities within Google Shopping.
  • Select products for ‘New In’ emails and other ad-hoc product focused emails
  • Owner of onsite taxonomy and categorization, including navigation- ensure all customer journeys and touch points are maximized to best potential.
  • Work with the Sales team to ensure full product catalogue is available on site, and trouble shoot for any missing products/product issues
  • Work under tight deadlines and respond positively to feedback (we need a team player!)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Attend trade meetings, building actions from insights in order to support trade and /or editorial.
  • Report on homepage & product performance on a weekly basis and communicate results in Trade meetings.

Requirements

  • We are looking for a driven individual with a passion for Formula 1™
  • 1 + years’ experience in ecommerce visual merchandising role or similar. ideally within the luxury retail sector (though not essential)
  • Passionate about ecommerce and the importance of a strong customer journey
  • Online Auction experience would also be advantageous
  • Experience with web analytic tools, such as Google Analytics
  • Strongly numerate and comfortable manipulating data
  • Good communicator, comfortable with showing what data means how we can take action.
  • Exceptional English language skills; including engaging copywriting and a professional communication style
  • Diligence and attention to detail and reporting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient user of Excel and Google Analytics
  • Desire to learn new technologies.
  • Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and will be highly self-motivated and passionate about performance marketing.

CONTENT AND COPYWRITING EXECUTIVE

Do you love all things Formula 1™? We are seeking an aerodynamic Content & Copywriting executive with G-Force to join our expanding team; working with the top Formula 1™ teams & drivers from our HQ in Towcester, UK.


Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this is a full-time, office-based position within the hub of British Motorsport. Some travel to international Formula 1 races & events may be required. 
 

Overview of the Role

Creating engaging content & copy that aligns with our marketing objectives and brand strategy, you will help to deliver the marketing plan across our rapidly expanding B2C & B2B channels.

 

Responsibilities

Create and own content across our digital channels. Producing content & copy pages for multiple websites, whilst optimizing for SEO.

Write effective marketing campaigns & regular blogs consisting of interviews with those in and around motorsport.

Oversee our social media channels; working closely with our external social media agency to continuously improve our engagement metrics.

Collaborate strongly with in-house Design, Events, Production and Sales teams. Create design briefs for our in-house design studio team.

Execute the detailed monthly marketing plan across all channels. Observe brand guidelines for our own brand and those of our licensed partners. Marketing campaigns will include, press releases, email campaigns, social media, events, print & articles.

Marketing planning, analytics and insights 10%
