The Help For Heroes Hero Awards
The Help for Heroes Hero Awards were started in 2010 when Bryn & Emma Parry, Co-founders of the Charity, wanted to recognise those supporters who had gone above and beyond in support of Help for Heroes. The Awards are treated like “The Victoria Cross” for the Charity, not necessarily based on the amount of money individuals raised, more the dedication of their support.
We endeavour to show just how much we appreciate the passion and commitment of our incredible supporters, so the Hero Awards have become the highlight of our calendar. They give us the chance to say thank you for everything that has been done to help our wounded, injured and sick Service Personnel.
The awards were originally held at Headley Court, during the royal opening of the swimming pool and gymnasium. They were moved to Tedworth House (one of the four recovery centres) the following year, where each subsequent event has been hosted.
At this year’s event, 25 winners and their guests congregated for a reception and dinner in the recovery centre’s Phoenix Centre gym. A frame which contained a Help for Heroes medal was then presented by beneficiaries.
We take pride and attention to detail when creating the custom framing for Help for Heroes and always enjoy seeing the finished products at the events. Framing is just one of the many corporate volume framing services provided by Memento Exclusives.
